doula monatrice, licensed midwife

After witnessing a home birth in 2007, I knew that I wanted to support women and their families during pregnancy and birth. I completed my DONA training and began my doula career shortly after. I've been a doula since March 2008, and my love for serving women and families has continued to grow. I graduated from Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery with high honors in 2016 and am now a Certified Professional Midwife licensed to practice midwifery in California. It is such a privilege to care for families during this transformative time. I truly enjoy helping woman have safe and satisfying birth experiences. I hope we can meet soon!

Brittany Harmon, LM

postpartum doula, licensed midwife

I have been fascinated with pregnancy and newborns for as long as I can remember. As a natural caregiver, when the time came to choose my career, I hoped to incorporate that passion with my life's work. In the summer of 2011, I discovered the "birth world". After some consideration, I decided to become a doula and midwife. I completed my DONA birth doula training in early 2012. I graduated from Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery in 2014 and became a licensed midwife in 2017. To become a more well-rounded care-provider, I completed DONA postpartum doula training in 2016. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families of all income brackets, in almost every setting imaginable. I strive to provide each of my families with compassionate, non-judgmental, individualized care.

Marisa Weiland, RN

postpartum doula, registered nurse

Hello! I am a DONA-trained Postpartum Doula with a background and current practice in pediatric nursing. My years of experience as a Pediatric RN have given me immense insight into the profound difference a mother's own sense of wellness and feeling of support makes towards better baby bonding as well as her child’s growth and development early-on. What I love most about being a doula is getting to support your family in practical ways that help meet you and your baby's goals and needs. As a DONA-trained postpartum doula, it’s an incredible honor to be invited into the sacred space of a family's adjustment to parenthood. The postpartum period is a sensitive time with major transitions. I strive to promote a peaceful environment of rest, balance, and healing, with the ultimate hope of supporting and empowering your confidence as a new mother. I look forward to meeting you!

Katie Leonard, PCD(DONA)

certified postpartum doula

I have been captivated by birth and postpartum since my first child was born. My interest in postpartum care grew further as those around me gave birth and became parents. The fourth trimester is an often overlooked time of transition and expansion. I became a DONA certified postpartum doula in 2023, and have fallen in love with the relational aspect of this work. Whether that’s listening to your birth story or preparing a nourishing meal for your family, I thrive on connecting with clients in a deeply personal way. My hope is to create a warm, nurturing environment in your home during this tender time.

Rachael Oeffner, IBCLC

rachael oeffner, IBCLC, co owner

board certified lactation consultant

I am a DONA trained Postpartum Doula and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).  I started my career off working for a large corporation, but found I was drawn toward helping people, especially supporting women. I found out about postpartum doula care and I was hooked! As I worked with families as a doula I realized many of their concerns centered around feeding their babies.  This prompted me to do a deep dive into breastfeeding information and ultimately lead me to becoming a lactation consultant.

I love to support families to make the experience of welcoming a new baby as relaxing and fun as possible. My goal is to help you feel confident and successful in meeting your feeding goals, whatever that may look like to you. I hope to meet with you and your family soon.

emma milburn, IBCLC

board certified lactation consultant

I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a background in Biology and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH). I am also a parent to three daughters whom I was able to successfully and unsuccessfully breastfeed. Breastfeeding can be hard and exhausting, but it can also be empowering and enjoyable. My purpose as a lactation consultant is to help families reach their goals and support them throughout all stages of infant feeding.  I hope to improve your confidence in feeding your baby, answer all your questions and ultimately help you enjoy life with a newborn.  I look forward to meeting you soon!

Teresa McCormack, IBCLC

teresa mccormack, RN, IBCLC

board certified lactation consultant & nurse

I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Upon delivery of my firstborn, I found  breastfeeding to be much more difficult than I had imagined it would be. I then found my outpatient lactation consultant, who helped me tremendously. I looked back and realized the empowerment I had gained and wanted to leave that same impact on new mothers.

My hopes are to increase the ease of breastfeeding for you and your baby in order to make life as a new parent easier to manage, and to help you meet your specific feeding goals for your child.

anna choi, BS, IBCLC

board certified lactation consultant & admin

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant {IBCLC} and also hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. I have been an IBCLC since 2014 and absolutely love helping families navigate the ebb and flow of breastfeeding. Having both breastfed and exclusively pumped for my three daughters, I've experienced my fair share of both frustrations with breastfeeding and producing milk, and complete joy with my body's natural abilities. My goal is for every family I come in contact with to feel supported and informed. I want families to know that I am in their corner and truly want the best for them. Whether your goal is to breastfeed for two weeks, two months, or two years, I'm here to support you.

Working now as the Administrative Assistant at Night and Day, I get to combine my passion for breastfeeding with my love of organization and schedules! I am an enneagram one through and through. I look forward to working with you!
