Lactation Consultant & doula
After witnessing a home birth in 2007, I knew that I wanted to support women and their families during pregnancy and birth. Since then, Iโve supported families in many capacities including as a DONA certified doula, CA licensed midwife, and in more recent years as a board certified lactation consultant. Iโm now focusing on breastfeeding support and coordinating care for our wonderful postpartum doula team.
Iโm so honored to be alongside you in this journey.
rachael oeffner, IBCLC, co owner
board certified lactation consultant
I am a DONA trained Postpartum Doula and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I started my career off working for a large corporation, but found I was drawn toward helping people, especially supporting women. I found out about postpartum doula care and I was hooked! As I worked with families as a doula I realized many of their concerns centered around feeding their babies. This prompted me to do a deep dive into breastfeeding information and ultimately lead me to becoming a lactation consultant.
I love to support families to make the experience of welcoming a new baby as relaxing and fun as possible. My goal is to help you feel confident and successful in meeting your feeding goals, whatever that may look like to you. I hope to meet with you and your family soon.

board certified lactation consultant
I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a background in Biology and a Masterโs in Public Health (MPH). I am also a parent to three daughters whom I was able to successfully and unsuccessfully breastfeed. Breastfeeding can be hard and exhausting, but it can also be empowering and enjoyable. My purpose as a lactation consultant is to help families reach their goals and support them throughout all stages of infant feeding. I hope to improve your confidence in feeding your baby, answer all your questions and ultimately help you enjoy life with a newborn. I look forward to meeting you soon!
anna choi, BS, IBCLC
board certified lactation consultant & admin
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant {IBCLC} and also hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. I have been an IBCLC since 2014 and absolutely love helping families navigate the ebb and flow of breastfeeding. Having both breastfed and exclusively pumped for my three daughters, I've experienced my fair share of both frustrations with breastfeeding and producing milk, and complete joy with my body's natural abilities. My goal is for every family I come in contact with to feel supported and informed. I want families to know that I am in their corner and truly want the best for them. Whether your goal is to breastfeed for two weeks, two months, or two years, I'm here to support you.
Working now as the Administrative Assistant at Night and Day, I get to combine my passion for breastfeeding with my love of organization and schedules! I am an enneagram one through and through. I look forward to working with you!

DONA Certified Postpartum Doula - Daytime Doula
I have been captivated by birth and postpartum since my first child was born. My interest in postpartum care grew further as those around me gave birth and became parents. The fourth trimester is an often overlooked time of transition and expansion. I became a DONA trained postpartum doula in 2023, and have fallen in love with the relational aspect of this work. Whether thatโs listening to your birth story or preparing a nourishing meal for your family, I thrive on connecting with clients in a deeply personal way. My hope is to create a warm, nurturing environment in your home during this tender time.
Jacqui Allen, CPD
Certified Postpartum Doula - Overnight Doula
Hi, Iโm Jacqui, a Cappa trained postpartum doula and a proud mama of four amazing girls. My own experience with motherhood has given me a real understanding of how special, and sometimes overwhelming, and challenging the newborn stage can be. I support families as they adjust to life with a new baby, offering overnight care, newborn support, and guidance with feeding and sleep routines. My goal is to help parents get the rest they need and feel more confident caring for their baby. I also believe in meeting each family where they are, providing gentle, non-judgmental support that meets their unique needs and parenting style. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and reassuring environment where families feel comfortable and truly cared for during this transition.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
Christina Pitts, CPD
Certified Postpartum Doula - Overnight Doula
I hold a Bachelor's degree from UCSD and am a proud mother of four. My journey into birth work began after the birth of my first child, when I started teaching childbirth classes and became deeply involved in local San Diego mom communities. Supporting other women during this transformative time quickly became a calling.
In 2020, I began working as a postpartum doula, where I've found immense fulfillment in caring not just for newborns, but for their mothers as well. While I truly love babies, the heart of my work lies in nurturing and supporting new mothers as they find their footing. Being invited into a family's postpartum experience is something I hold with deep respect and gratitude, and I consider it a true privilege to walk alongside families during such a meaningful season of life.
